Lucky in Love Auckland Marriage Celebrant

Royal weddings

Zara Phillips & Mike Tindall
Edinburgh, 30 July 2011

We’ve been talking about royal weddings alot lately – this is the third one now this summer!

But, I think, the marriage of Zara and Mike is the most special. They seem endearingly down-to-earth, I suppose because of their sporting achievements. But I think this review shows their celebration was one where all royals could forget their p’s and q’s and enjoy themselves just like anyone else!

Royal weddings

Prince Albert & Princess Charlene
Monaco, 1 July 2011

Wills & Kate weren’t the only royal couple to tie the knot this year. 3,500 guests witnessed Prince Albert And Princess Charlene saying“I Do”. Guests included Italian designer Giorgio Armani and Karl Lagerfeld, French President Nicolas Sarkozy, US soprano Renee Fleming, British Bond actor Roger Moore, fashion models Naomi Campbell and  Karolina Kurkova, former French first lady Bernadette Chirac, Romanian Gymnast Nadia Comaneci.

Princess Charlene dressed in a stunning Armani off-the-shoulder gown made in white silk adorned with over 40,000 Swarovski crystals  and  a long veil, while Prince Albert wore the white dress uniform of Monaco’s Carabinieri Royal Guard. Their wedding took place in the courtyard of the Prince’s palace, the audience outside could see the ceremony from two giant screens outside. The princess looked so beautiful and serene walking the aisle by her father. Prince Albert and Princess Charlene exchanged 18-carat white gold platinum rings by Cartier.

The newlyweds and their 450 guests enjoyed a delicious meal especially made by chef Alain Ducasse. After the celebration there was a fireworks spectacular, but the celebrations will go on on Sunday with a brunch that will mark the end of the royal wedding festivities.

Celebrity Couples | Daniel Craig and Rachel Weisz

Film stars Daniel Craig and Rachel Weisz have tied the knot, Craig’s publicist has confirmed.

Robin Baum of Slate PR, which represents the James Bond actor, said the pair had got married, but did not offer any details.

The British couple will play husband and wife in the movie Dream House.

According to reports, they tied the knot in a secret ceremony last Wednesday in New York, with only Craig’s teenage daughter, Ella, Weisz’s five-year-old son, Henry, and two family friends as guests.

Craig, 43, rose to international stardom in 2006 when he became the sixth actor to play Bond in the movie franchise.

He will take on the role of the suave secret agent for the third time in the 23rd movie, to be released in October next year.

His other film credits include Elizabeth, Layer Cake and The Girl With the Dragon Tattoo, which comes out in the UK later this year.

Weisz, 41, won a best supporting actress Oscar for her role in the 2005 film The Constant Gardener. Her other films include The Mummy and About a Boy.

Celebrity weddings | Posh & Becks

Victoria Adams and David Beckham
married July 4, 1999

This celebrity couple were married at the 560-acre Luttrellstown Castle, just outside of Dublin, Ireland. Twenty-nine close friends and family witnessed the event, which was held in a private room of the castle decorated with rose petals and silver birch trees.

Victoria arrived at the castle in a burgundy vintage Bentley, with her sister and maid of honor, Louise, and David’s two nieces who were flower girls. The bride walked down a 60-foot walkway covered in flowers, as a harp and violin duo played Mozart, Bach and Handel. She made her grand entrance wearing a champagne colored strapless Vera Wang gown with a 20-foot train. In her hair, she wore an 18-carat gold crown encrusted with diamonds by jeweler Slim Barrett. The groom wore an ivory and cream suit. Brooklyn, the couple’s baby son, wore a white suit by Antonio Berardi and slept peacefully through the ceremony.

The wedding was officiated by the Bishop of Cork, Paul Colton, and at the conclusion of the tearful vows, a single white dove was released. In celebration, a purple heraldic flag was raised above the castle with the letters ‘V.B.D.’ — for Victoria, Brooklyn and David.

A reception was held for 230 guests, all of whom were asked to wear black and white, including Spice Girls Geri Halliwell, Melanie Chisholm and Melanie Brown, and Sir Bobby Charlton. The affair itself employed 400 staff members and was coordinated by Bentley’s Entertainment and Sternberg Clarke. The reception room was filled with cushions the size of double beds, purple carpets and two golden thrones for the newlyweds. A crib for baby Brooklyn was set up at their side. For the reception, the couple changed into party outfits by Antonio Berardi. David wore a purple suit, and his son wore a purple cowboy hat.

Dinner was catered by chef Jason Reynolds and included red pepper soup, turkey breast, grilled Mediterranean vegetables, and Beckham’s favorite — sticky toffee pudding with a terrine of summer berries. For dessert, a wedding cake was served with a nude sculpture of the couple on top. The couple shared their first dance to “It Had To Be You,” performed by The Starlight Orchestra. At the end of the evening, hundreds of red balloons were released into the air, and a fireworks display lit up the sky.

The couple spent their wedding night in the castle’s Royal Suite before honeymooning in a villa in the South of France.

First Love Second Chance

Speaking of lines that make your heart melt. I cried tears of joy watching this random tv show like I personally knew the couple!! Here’s a little bit about the show:

Everyone remembers their first love. But what if the one who got away came back? What if you could give your very first love a second chance? TV Land is helping lost loves find out! First Love Second Chance reunites former flames to give them a shot at rekindling their romance. They take turns living in each other’s world while reconnecting, reminiscing, sorting out what they once had (and what drove them apart) — and imagining a future together. Finally, they head back to their own homes and make a decision, which each sweetheart sends via video: Do they want to call it quits or commit to giving their relationship a second chance?

The episode I saw was:
Chris was a champion skateboarder who fell in love with Hollis when they were teens. But when Chris gave in to the temptations of fame, they broke up. Now, 25 years later, are they ready to give their first love a second chance?

And the line Chris said that made my heart melt was in his personal video to Hollis:
I may not be perfect. But I’m perfect for you.

I'm yours

Well you done done me and you bet I felt it
I tried to be chill but you’re so hot that I melted
I fell right through the cracks, now I’m trying to get back

Before the cool done run out I’ll be giving it my bestest
And nothing’s going to stop me but divine intervention
I reckon it’s again my turn to win some or learn some
But I won’t hesitate no more, no more It cannot wait, I’m yours

Well open up your mind and see like me
Open up your plans and damn you’re free
Look into your heart and you’ll find love love love love love
