🧚‍♂️Awaken Your Goddess🧞‍♀️

And send your partner some hints to visit @WickenJewellery for an Engagement Ring! I was walking from Ponsonby Central across the road at the bollard crossing thingey outside SPQR and did a little Tinkerbell flutter when I found myself standing in front of the magical @WickenJewellery, a new store which harnesses the ancient symbols and knowledge of wicca, combined with protective and positive crystals.

All jewels are prettily displayed with the meanings behind them and the lovely Kim will help you choose a handcrafted piece which reflects your inner goddess and/or bring you the energy you need. The Swarovski pink topaz ring, Love Nest, pictured will bring you good fortune in love. It enhances the heart chakra and is known to bring genuine love. The vibration of love it engenders is very powerful and the longer the stone is in your aura the ore chance it has to do its work!  #wickenjewellery

A Love Story 💖 Peter & Andrea

When I posted that cute love story about the young American couple recently, it reminded me I hadn’t yet posted my step-Uncle Peter’s love story! Peter is head over heels and talks about his girlfriend Andrea at every opportunity! He was so excited to show us the article written up in the local ‘Our Enterprise’ a magazine published by idea (Intellectual Disability Empowerment in Action). Here is Peter and Andrea’s gorgeous Love Story (I especially love the bit about the engagement rings)…

So, Peter has been in contact with Andrea since then. Although they live separately, they keep regular contacts via phone calls and take turns in making calls. Peter calls Andrea every Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday; while Andrea calls Peter every Monday, Wednesday and Friday. Once a fortnight they will take a turn making a call on Sunday night with staff’s help to remind them whose turn.

Peter explained that he has changed for Andrea now. He is no longer being ‘the boss’ and he wants Andrea to become one instead to make Andrea happy. He also mentioned that he wants to be nice and kind to Andrea. Peter proudly recalled that he has given 8 engagement rings to Andrea.

As part of their regular contacts, Peter will have dinner at Lauderdale with Andrea once a month. He will be dropped off by staff at 3pm and be picked up at 7pm. Peter said the he would be very happy if Andrea can come for dinner at his place one day and say hello to all his housemates.

Carla and Kelly tied the knot back in March amongst the vineyards in Matakana.
I was thrilled to be their Celebrant and MC for their lovely day with some very unique personalised touches thoughtfully designed by the stunning Bride. (I would NOT however have recommended the groomsman do a cheeky 360 on the pristine manicured front lawn  ; )

Congratulations Mr & Mrs Tibbits!

Our English Rose Bride looked like a supermodel standing at the altar with her rugby playing Kiwi Groom.

An elegantly quaint wedding at intimate St Andrews Church Matakana. The prettiest white floral arrangements decorated the altar and complemented the simplicity of this historic wooden church.

♥ Love Letters ♥

It is always so nice to get feedback from my couples : )

Plus I do rely on lovely reviews that my Bride and Grooms give me on facebook – unlike wedding photographers or cakemakers, my service is not visual so I can’t entice couples that way (although I do scrub up quite nicely on the BIG day ; )

Thank you to all my newlyweds who have taken the time to send me a thank you card, write a facebook review or send me a quick email. I put all my energy into coordinating your ceremony to make your day special so it really does mean alot to me when I hear from you : )

Plus you’re helping other Brides and Grooms make the decision to choose a marriage celebrant who is professional, has the added value of event management experience as well as keeping you on track and making the process fun!

So if you (whether you were a Bride and Groom, mother of the bride, one of the bridal party or guests) have been impressed with my service and ceremony style please feel free to rate me!

Thank you!!

Wow! Another wonderful wedding season comes to an end for me, with my last ceremony/MC gig in Matakana on Saturday.
Like my wedding ceremonies, when it all comes to the end, after I’ve pronounced my happy couples husband and wife/marriage partners, it always feels as though it’s over all too soon and this wedding season just whizzed by.
A BIG thank you to my gorgeous couples in 2017/18- each of your ceremonies was unique and personalised – just the way you wanted. I really appreciate your kind reviews and words of thanks – knowing that I helped make your day special is why I do this : )
Also thank you to the helpful wedding venue teams, photographers, florists, cakemakers and stylists that have been a pleasure to collaborate with.
I’ll be taking a little time off now to enjoy our new home in Hobsonville Point, catch up on some personal projects and have a holiday in Hawaii. Yay!!!!
I look forward to starting to meet new couples in January 2019 and taking their wedding and MC bookings.
Much aroha, Kimberly x
